The Job Center is hiring for associates on 1st and 3rd shift for warehouse mail sorters in the City of Grand Prairie, TX area. This is a great opportunity for a temp to hire placement. Compensation/Shift/Benefits of warehouse mail sorter:
1st Shift Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm $16.50
3rd Shift Tuesday – Saturday 12:30am – 8:30am $18.50
Will be required to work overtime as needed this will include off days and weekends as well when needed

Climate-controlled and weekly pay!
Prepare outgoing metered mail by reviewing proper date, postage and barcodes
Communicate errors and recognize bad barcodes found in the mail
Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from machine
This is a very physical role with a lot of bending, twisting and consistently lifting 35 lb mail trays – this is not a light duty position
This environment is very dusty
Basic enough understanding of English to be able to understand and follow safety and other operational directions communicated in English, irrespective of their native language
The ability to work overtime which includes weekends, holidays and or a different shift with little or potential no advance notice
Must have 1+ year of fast-paced warehouse experience.
The ability to be dependable and reliable.
Physical demands and ability- lift up to 50 lbs and walk, stand stoop and bend 80% of the time.
