Job Description

Salary: $68,000 - 108,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• At least five years of experience testing web applications
• Experience creating test scripts
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries
• Experience with tools such as Microsoft Team Foundation Server/Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Word, and Excel
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Ability to work independently and take initiative as a self-directed team member
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Preferred: experience with automation tools such as Playwright
• Preferred: experience creating computer system validation (CSV) artifacts
• Preferred: experience with Section 508 testing
• Preferred: experience working with NIH
• Preferred: experience supporting clinical research projects

• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements and develop test cases
• Create test scripts in accordance with computer system validation (CSV) standard operating procedures
• Run test cases to verify that software meets functional and non-functional requirements
• Review test cases and support the testing team
• Log defects in an application lifecycle management tool and provide stakeholders with status updates
• Estimate the effort required for testing activities
• Develop Operational and Performance Qualification protocols and assist with CSV deliverables as needed
• Maintain requirements traceability
• Work with developers to ensure test results are understood
• Take part in Agile Scrum ceremonies
• Contribute to design reviews, offering input on requirements, product design, and potential issues
• Identify testable requirements and prepare strategies for the applicable types of testing
• Verify production systems after software installations and updates
• Support customer operations by testing and reproducing issues reported by customers
• Perform other similar professional duties as needed
