Robert Half is working with a San Marcos organization seeking a Junior Financial Analyst to join a collaborative Finance team. This position is designed for someone who has a solid foundation in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business and wants hands-on experience with FP&A and business reporting.Rather than being purely data-entry focused, this role gives you the opportunity to understand how financial information flows through a business and how Finance supports operational decisions.What You’ll Handle:Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reportingUpdate budget and forecast templatesPrepare department-level financial schedulesTrack expenses and compare spending against budgetResearch and document financial variancesAssist with revenue and expense analysisPull financial data from internal systems and ExcelMaintain reporting databases and financial filesHelp prepare management presentations and reporting packagesSupport month-end close analysisAssist with KPI and performance reportingIdentify inconsistencies in financial data and work with the team to resolve themAssist with special projects, forecasting, and process improvements
